Hello! Thanks for viewing my shop. I've been teaching now for over 10 years and was a teaching assistant before that. I'm currently teaching Year 3/4 but have taught in EYFS, Year 1 and 2, & Yr 6. I've worn many hats during my teaching career and I'm now deputy head of a small but ever growing successful first school!
I love creating resources that can be used to capture and engage the children in my class that allow them to really enjoy their learning. Please get in touch and leave feedback!

Hi, thanks for viewing. These worksheets are designed to stretch all abilities and allow the pupil to use a range of skills such as rounding, estimating and adding to complete mastery style questions. These can be used as a main, starter or plenary activity or alternatively cut them up and give them as extra challenges.
Please feel free to edit to suit the needs of your class. I hope they help.
Hi,
This resourse focus on allowing the children to engage in key critical thinking skills and practice their skills in place value, adding and subtracting.
The 20 questions vary from asking the children to Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction and reading and writing numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals and number names.
I’ve included a word version so you can edit the questions to suit the needs of your class.
Here’s some suggested ways to use this resource.
Cut them up and laminate them- place them on the tables and ask your pupils to collaboratively solve them.
Stick them in the children’s books and get them to answer them.
After the children have solved a few ask them to place them in order of difficulty - ask them why and what they found most difficult.
Thanks for buying this resource and I really hope that it helps your class with their learning.
Hi,
Thanks for viewing this resources.
It is 100% editable and contains mastery plus fluency and reasoning style questions.
Included in this resource:
5 pages of questions and 2 worksheets.
Interactive smartboard which contains quiz style slides and drag and drop activities.
Works well alongside plickers.
I cut the questions up and either use them to extend learners who have completed tasks or for plenaries/starters.
Occasionally I have cut them up and placed them on tables for children to collaboratively solve.
Please feel free to adapt questions to suit the needs of your class. I hope that this is useful.
Many thanks

I hope that you and your class find this resource useful.
Many thanks
This advent calender is great to add a bit of fun to problem solving and reasoning. It covers subtraction, addition, multiplication and division.
Simply click on each window on the calender and a problem for that day appears.
There are 23 problems.
Many have the answers and structures to model the answer.
I hope that this resource challenges your pupils. Feel free to adapt each problem to suit the needs of your class.
Hi,
This resource focuses on multiplication, area and perimeter and allows the children to use reasoning and problem solving skills to solve two investigations. The investigations focus on the 9 and 8 times tables.
Investigation 1:
Santa wants a new floor design for his grotto 10m x 10m and a new floor design for his ballroom 20 m x 20 m (for higher attainers)
Investigation 2:
Santa would like to know how many presents fit in each room. Children have to work together to solve.
There is a short task to solve the presents area and perimeter which involves the 9 and 8 x tables.
Feel free to edit this resource to suit the needs of your class. For example, you could change the multiplication, area size to 5 x 5 or change the grotto to the sleigh. Also you could change the actual measurement to cm and get children to draw in books.
I am going to get children to cut areas from spare grids and place on until they have a final version. I’m also going to set my highers off with the challenge of only using calculations to solve first.
Hope your class enjoy it and have an awesome Christmas!
This resource includes one game board. It is ideal for revision of angles and covering such vocab as acute, obtuse, reflex and right angles etc…
I have used this as a 1:2:1 resource and in small groups to help recap or pre teach learning.
I hope you find this useful.
Thanks
This worksheet contains 15 questions that allow the pupils to use their knowledge and skills in different scenarios. Feel free to adapt this worksheet to suit your children's needs.
Thanks, I hope they help.
This is a mastery worksheet involving adding money. There is a mixture of operations , statistics and fractions to ensure that children are still being exposed to previously recapped and upcoming concepts/learning.
I have included 12 varied fluency questions and 6 problem solving and reasoning questions.
These questions allow the children to be challenged in a way that will stretch their thinking and learning, allowing them to master the topic.
Many thanks for downloading this resource. I hope you and your children find it useful. I have included the word version so you can adapt each question to suit the needs of your class.
Enjoy!
This Minecraft Money activity allows the children to solve the items in each bag. This open ended challenge allows the children to come up with more than one possibility.
I hope this is useful.
Many thanks.
This worksheet uses Minecraft to enthuse the children to learn position and movement. Some of the questions stretch the children by asking them to write instructions for a beebot and some q's have Minecraft objects that start in a diagonal position.
I hope your class enjoy using this resource.
Many thanks
Here is 1 sheet of 10 more 10 less 1 less 1 more puzzle grids. Ask the children to try and solve the number sentences to solve the numbers they must add/subtract 1 or 10 more/less than. I've included some coins for the children to recognise and keep their skills up to date.
Thanks
This 1 more/less 10more/less hunt can be differentiated many ways. I have already differentiated it 5 ways for my own class and printed out the sheets on different coloured paper for each group to find. Once the children have found the coloured shape that they've been given they must solve 1 more/less or 10 more less depending on their ability. They record on the answer sheets provided in the download.
I hope this helps and feel free to differentiated to suit your class.
Many thanks
I'm using these bookmarks to prompt and remind the children of our presentation expectations of our school.
You could place children's targets on back or just use them to remind the children what page they are on next (As at a young age they have a habit of missing pages out!)
I have attached the word doc so you can attach your school's feedback policy etc...and make it suit your needs.
Many thanks, hope you find this useful.
